Ian McKellen returns to Hamlet in a world première at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, performing with the Edinburgh Festival Ballet Company. 
 

Ian performs Hamlet’s famous speeches, soliloquies and more; sharing the role of Hamlet with lead dancer Johan Christiansen.

 

The show is devised, directed and choreographed by famed dancer Peter Schaufuss.

The show features a score by Ethan and the song, Ophelia's Lament written and performed by Jenna.
